It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 taking off from its home base of Dublin Airport on another flight to somewhere short-haul.
Ryanair’s fleet is spread across its subsidiaries, with 237 Boeing 737-800s assigned to its Irish unit and 46 assigned to Ryanair Sun/Buzz. The airline also operates a singular Boeing 737-700 and the Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft in its short to medium-haul fleet.
Together, they knit a network across Europe
This aircraft was EI-DLR. This aircraft joined the Ryanair fleet in September 2006, where it remained in service until August 2020, when it was stored and sold. The aircraft is now registered as HS-KMD, joining the Thai airline K-Mile, where it serves as a Boeing Converted Freighter, based out Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand.
More Airplane Art next week!
