It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Finnair Airbus A330-300 in “Marimekko” paintwork, featuring the Unikko design at its home base of Helsinki Airport.
Finnair operates a fleet of three active Airbus A330-300 aircraft, with one parked and four stored. These support the Finnair Airbus A350-900 fleet in the airline’s long haul operations.
The airline also has a long partnership with Marimekko, who contribute to the in-cabin experience in terms of amenity kits, blankets, antimacassars and tableware since 2012.
There is also a Marimekko Airbus A350, in the “Kivet” livery, which I featured on this blog before
OH-LTO joined the Finnair fleet in May 2009, directly from the factory. The aircraft has been stored for some time, however, it seems to have left storage in Hong Kong and is being reactivated for service.
More Airplane Art next week!
