It’s just after (checks watch) 3:38am as I write this. I thought I had this travel thing down to a tee.
Boy, was I wrong.
It’s been some time since I’ve needed to do the early morning coach to Heathrow – something I haven’t missed if I’m remotely honest.
But today… it’s been more challenging than ever, not helped with the rideshare companies and drivers taking their own sweet time to pick up.
It was a challenge to make it to the coach station… but I made it to the coach.
As the last person to board.
But the important thing is I made it, with a grand total of a minute on the clock. Whilst the coach took its sweet time departing Birmingham.
No matter. The open road awaits to a new adventure.
