It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a large aircraft in view, with a British Airways Airbus A380 at its home base of London Heathrow.
British Airways owns a fleet of 12 Airbus A380 aircraft, with six aircraft currently reactivated and flying for the airline.
They support the Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in the airlines long-haul operation.
This aircraft is the class leader – G-XLEA – as it is prepared for a short-haul run back and forth between London Heathrow and Frankfurt. As well as running short-haul operations for crew training, the aircraft has recently visited Johannesburg and Dubai multiple times within the week.
More Airplane Art next week!
