Air France is updating its amenity kit offering for its La Première passengers – and there’s more than a hint of travel romanticism in it.
The new amenity kit is inspired by a writing set. It is available in two colours that are characteristic of the La Première travel suite – Air France red and pearl grey. The topstitching and embossed winged seahorse emblem, the company’s historic symbol.
The kit has been produced between Air France and Sisley, who are already present in the company’s La Première lounge, to offer guests a genuine moment of well-being during the flight.
The kit encloses a range of five products carefully selected by the company to offer a choice of two beauty care rituals
- An anti-age replenishing beauty care ritual
- An anti-age moisturising beauty care ritual
The kit contains the following beauty products (all in sample sizes)
- A black rose cream mask
- A hydrating booster serum
- An anti-age hydration booster moisturising serum
- A black rose water balm
- A day, All year anti-age day cream
This kit also contains a La Première pen, a wooden comb, earplugs and a night mask that can be taken home after the flight.
A Première Route network
La Première is offered on four-class services Air France operates – which is a limited network of ten destinations. Coverage includes:
- New York-JFK (USA)
- San Francisco (USA)
- Los Angeles (USA)
- Miami (USA)
- Washington-DC (USA)
- Mexico City (Mexico)
- Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire)
- Johannesburg (South Africa)
- Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
- Sao Paulo (Brazil)
This is offered onboard a subset of the Air France Boeing 777-300ER fleet. Each La Première suite has a wide seat that transforms into a horizontal bed more than two metres long, with Michelin-starred menus signed by Anne-Sophie Pic and with selected wine and champagne list in it.
Innovating to the smallest details
When you’re paying out (be it in the form of hard cash or frequent flyer miles), you’re paying for a few things – space primarily, a level of service both in the air on the ground – and within that – attention to the smallest details.
In the grand scheme of things, the amenity kit can be taken or left – but if taken it provides a lasting memory of the journey.
The product spread also goes for an angle of relaxation too – considering the length of some of the sectors that La Première operates on, this will be important as the body adapts between time zones.
It’s something that’s a little different as wellbeing in the sky continues to be a focus for some airlines.
