It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 departing Manchester Airport, on its way back to Istanbul Airport, in the “Year of Troy” livery.
Turkish Airlines operates a fleet of 66 Airbus A321 aircraft in its short to medium-haul fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 737 MAX 9. These feed into the airline’s Istanbul hub, where they connect to Turkish Airlines’ long haul network of Airbus and Boeing long haul aircraft.
This aircraft – TC-JTP is named “Canakkale”. It was code-branded with the “Year of Troy” livery when this image was taken. It joined the Turkish Airlines fleet in January 2017 and has remained in the operational fleet since then. The aircraft has recently travelled to Izmir, Ljubljana, Helsinki, Vilnius, Trabzon, Bologna, Hannover, Baku, Lyon, Van, Genneva, Sofia, Hamburg, Hurghada and Venice.
More Airplane Art Next Week!
