It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an IndiGo Airbus A320 pushing back at Singapore Changi Airport, as it prepares to head back to India
Indigo currently operates a fleet of 48 Airbus A320 aircraft in its fleet. These are being phased out, in favour of the Airbus A320neo. The airline also operates the Airbus A321neo, with both the A321LR and A321XLR on order.
This aircraft – VT-IEI joined the IndiGo fleet in August 2011. It remained in the fleet until September 2021, when it was withdrawn and it was stored. It is currently assigned to Super Air Jet of Indonesia and awaiting its new registration (which operates a fleet of 23 Airbus A320 family aircraft).
More Airplane Art Next Week!
