It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 landing at London Heathrow Airport after completing the long trip from Singapore Changi Airport.
Singapore Airlines was the launch operator of the Airbus A380. The airline currently operates 14 of the type, with 10 operational. The airline also operates Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-900ULR, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-10 in its long-haul fleet, whilst it operates the Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-8 in its regional operations.
These aircraft connect the island nation of Singapore to the world.
Singapore Airlines operates the A380 in a four-class configuration with six suites, 78 business class sleepers, 44 Premium Economy and 343 economy class seats.
This aircraft – 9V-SKV– joined the Singapore Airlines fleet in February 2018, which makes the aircraft over four years old. It’s been busy, operating out of its Singapore home base to Sydney, Mumbai and London recently.
More Airplane Art next week!
