It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we’re going into the archives a little for a Britsh Airways Boeing 747-400 landing at London Heathrow Airport as it completes a long-haul trip.
At its peak, British Airways operated a fleet of 57 Boeing 747-400 aircraft that the airline operated on its long-haul network. Today, only a few examples remain as museum pieces – with the rest of the fleet retired during 2020.
The airline is an operator of the Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its long-haul operation.
More Airplane Art next week!

The 747, much like Her Majesty, will always be the the finest Queen we’ll ever know.
