Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond (15th October)

15/10/2022 by Kevincm

Good evening from the Windy (and rather starting to chill) City. I am down-route on a trip, but it is also time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.

  • It’s 2:45 in the morning. We all know that means – In which I learn I should have caught the 1 am coach instead of the 2:45 one.

  • Delta Air Lines and Starbucks announce a loyalty tie-up – Caffeine for stars and miles if you’re in the USA.

Travel Technology

  • Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 – Evolution of a classic? – And now superseded by the Surface Laptop 5. However, the review might be worth looking at.

Hotel Check

  • HOTEL CHECK: Holiday Inn Express, Droitwich (near Worcester) – Motorway hotels offer surprises. As well as drippy air conditioning systems

Pretty Pictures

  • Airplane Art – Lufthansa Airbus A320-200 coming in to land at Dublin Airport

Next Week

I’m still in Chicago for a bit of the week, before heading home. As you can guess, the trip report writing has begun, along with the snapshots.

We’ll have limited coverage on Monday and Tuesday as I’m going to be mostly out of touch in the world, but we should have whatever constitutes for normal on this blog from Wednesday.

Until then, happy landings!
