It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a British Airways Airbus A380 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it completes the transatlantic journey from London Heathrow Airport.
British Airways operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A380 aircraft, with all twelve of the fleet now reactivated for long-haul duty, with typed sorted during the pandemic.
They support the British Airways long haul fleet, which consists of Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10.
This aircraft – G-XLED (sometimes known as Led Zeppelin), joined the British Airways fleet in January 2014. It was stored from March 2020 to January 2022.
It has recently been operating flights to Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Dubai and Miami.
More Airplane Art next week!
