We’re fast heading to the end of the year, with airlines starting to firm up their Summer 2023 destinations. Aer Lingus is the latest to firm up its network for the year ahead.

First up is the European Network. The airline plans to fly to 53 European destinations from Ireland, including three new routes to Kos (Greece), Olbia (Sardinia, Italy) and Brindisi (Italy). In total, including its UK operations, it increases to 63 destinations.
In addition, the airline is on the attack as it expects consumers to travel in the summer season, with the airline aggressively bumping up its frequencies on routes. These include:

North America

The transatlantic network remains key to Aer Lingus, with the airline offering over 2.25 million transatlantic seats on sale, with Cleveland joining the network, as well as Hartford, CT returning. Key routes connecting Boston, New York-JFK, Chicago and Washington D.C. will operate double daily from Dublin during peak summer.

- Dublin – Orlando – increases to 5 times weekly from 4 weekly services in 2019
- Dublin – Seattle – increases to daily from 5 times weekly in 2019
- Dublin – Los Angeles – larger Airbus A330 aircraft operating the route
- Dublin – San Francisco
- Dublin – Toronto
- Shannon – Boston
- Shannon – New York, JFK – increase of one weekly service vs. 2019
In addition, the area operations out of Manchester, including:
- Manchester – New York, JFK
- Manchester – Orlando
For those looking for Dublin – Miami and Manchester – Barbados, you’ll have to wait until the winter season for them to return.
Long Haul operations will utilise the Airbus A330 and A321LR fleet.
