It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International International Airport as it completes a long-haul trip.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners in its long haul fleet – with many more to come, with the airline having recently signed an order for at least 100 Dreamliners last week (of which United Airlines can take delivery of any variant of the type).
The airline also operates the Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787–9 in its long haul fleet.
These aircraft are used to connect the USA to the world from United Hubs.
This aircraft – N16008 – joined the United Airlines fleet in March 2019 and has remained in its active fleet since then. It has recently operated out the airline’s hubs of Newark, Los Angeles and Chicago O’Hare, operating to Munich, Brussels, Frankfurt, and Tel Aviv.
More Airplane Art next week!
