It’s Christmas Day and also a Sunday – so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a SWISS International Air Lines Airbus A220-300 lining up on the runway at Geneva Airport as it prepares to head off for a European adventure.
SWISS operates a fleet of 21 Airbus A220-300 aircraft – and were the launch operator of what was then known as the Bombardier C Series CS100. In total, SWISS operates a total of 30 Airbus A220 family aircraft.
The airline also operates the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo in its European/Short to Medium Haul network.
This aircraft – HB-JCI – joined the SWISS fleet in April 2018. It has remained in the airline’s fleet since then. Recently, this aircraft has been busy, operating out of SWISS’s bases of Geneva and Zurich, flying to Dublin, Paris, London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Milan, Stuttgart, Porto, Berlin and Nice – with it having a busy schedule over the next few days.
