In Japan is it common for companies to tie up to promote prefectures, regions, or well… anything. Solaseed Air is hopping aboard the Pokemon Jet craze, with an aircraft to feature Exeggutor (as well as a few other Pokemon).

Why Exeggutor (in either Normal or Alolan forms)?
According to the tourism website, Miyazaki Prefecture has a mild climate that is warm all year round, the “Phoenix” palm tree was chosen as the prefectural tree. It was chosen as Miyazaki Prefecture’s favourite Pokemon because it is a perfect match for the image of Nasshi, which is called “tropical rainforest”, and was appointed as “Miyazaki’s favourite Pokemon”.
Onto more practical matters, which will see a Solaseed Boeing 737-800 painted up for the occasion with JA803X being pained. This will commence operations in March.
The aircraft will feature both the normal and Alolan forms of Exeggutor, as well as appearances from Alolan Raichu, Wingull and Bellossom.
And it wouldn’t be a launch without a video.
It marks the second appearance of Eggeggutor infight, expanding on a previous partnership [with the airline
It wouldn’t be a Pokemon Jet if there weren’t some interior touches, with the aircraft set to feature Pokemon-themed headrest covers.
Onboard drinks are to be served in paper cups with Exeggutor and Raichu peeping through windows.
Meanwhile, Flight attendants will also have aprons with the characters on them too.
The aircraft will operate for three years on Solaseed Air’s flights, so there are plenty of chances to catch them out of the airline’s hubs of Miyazaki, Naha and Tokyo Haneda.

Your website offers opportunities to learn about mascots, obsure (to people on other continents) airlines, and the convergence of the two that no other travel website I follow can match. Thanks!
