It’s Sunday, so it must be time for more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Brussels Airlines Airbus A319 (in old colours) taxiing at Geneva Airport after completing the hop from its home base of Brussels Airport.
Brussels Airlines operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A319 aircraft. The airline also uses the Airbus A320 on short-haul routes and is awaiting its first Airbus A320neo deliveries.
The airline also operates the Airbus A330-300 as its long-haul flagship from its Brussels Airport base.
This aircraft – OO-SSW – was delivered initially to Iberia in October 2007, making this aircraft over 15 years old. It left the Iberia fleet in July 2011 and was redelivered to Brussels Airlines in January 2012, where it has remained.
The aircraft has had some activity recently, operating out of its Brussels home base to Sofa, Toulouse and Prague.
More Airplane Art next week!
