It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Icelandair Boeing 757-200 pulling off the runway at Dublin Airport as it turns and taxis toward the terminal area.
Icelandair operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 757-200 in its fleet. The airline also operates Boeing 737-8, Boeing 737-9, Boeing 757-300 and Boeing 767-300ER in its international operation. The airline also operates De Havilland Dash 8-200 and Dash 8-400.
Together these aircraft connect Iceland and its hub at Keflavík International Airport, providing traffic to and from Europe and North America.
This aircraft – TF-FIP is named “Snaefell”. It joined the Icelandair fleet in April 2000, where it remained. It was stored for a period between February 2020 to July 2021.
It was last reported flying from Liege to Reykjavik on the 14th of December 2022.
