It’s Sunday again (and Mothering Sunday in the United Kingdom), so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a China Southern Boeing 787-9 lining up at Heathrow Airport as it prepares to take off, heading off to Guangzhou.
China Southern operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 787-9 in its fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 in its widebody fleet.
This aircraft – B-20E8 – has been operating out of its Guangzhou hub to primarily domestic destinations, including Chengdu, Kunming, Shanghai-Pudong, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Xi’an and Shanghai. It has wandered out of Chinese airspace, visiting Auckland and Kuala Lumpur.
It is a three-year-old aircraft, which was delivered to China Southern Airlines in April 2021, being leased from ACL.
More AIrplane Art next week!
