ANA unveils a new Pikachu Jet – Introducing Pikachu Jet NH

02/04/2023 by Kevincm

Whilst Ash Ketchum might have wandered off into the sunset to continue his Pokemon adventures, All Nippon Airways has announced a new Pokemon Jet – and it is a Pikachu Jet.

This one is known as a Pikachu Jet NH.

The “Pikachu Jet NH” aircraft features a livery designed for ANA, in which the Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza is depicted across the entire fuselage to create a vivid effect.

Charizard, Latias, Latios, Vivillon Butterfree, Rowlette, Emolga and other flying Pokémon from all over the Pokémon world move together with Pikachu toward the shining rays of hope and endless possibilities of an interconnected world.

Pokémon are also hidden inside the engines, so please keep an eye out for them when boarding on your next adventure with the Pikachu Jet (and let us hope they don’t get caught in the jet suction…).

There will be a customised passenger experience too – which will be revealed soon.

And yes, for those who collect merchandise, there will be merch. It is marked as “Coming soon.”

Routes and network

The Pikachu Jet NH will enter service from June 4 and is timetabled to operate until at least  October 28, 2023.

Routes will be subject to change on a daily basis – so you will only find out on the day of departure if you’re flying the Pikachu Jet NH. There is one constant it seems – the jet will be based out of Haneda Airport.

Route Flight Number
Haneda – Bangkok NH847/NH850/NH849/NH848
Haneda – Singapore NH841/NH844/NH843/NH842
Haneda – Jakarta NH855/NH856

Haneda -Ho Chi Minh NH891/NH892
Haneda- Delhi NH837/NH838
Haneda- Sydney NH879/NH880/NH889/NH890

And many more Pokejets out there – but can you catch them all?

The Pikachu Jet NH joins other Pikachu jets by Skymark (Japan), China Airlines (Taiwan), T’Way (South Korea) and Scoot (Singapore).

You can find out more at Pokémon Air Adventures (flying-pikachu.com), a project which aims to bring people closer to each other and encourage them to explore the world after the COVID-19 pandemic with the Pikachu Jet.
