It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737-8 in its Independence livery at taxis onto the departure runway at London Heathrow Airport as it prepares to head back to Warsaw.
LOT operates a fleet of 11 Boeing 737-8 aircraft in its short-medium haul fleet. The airline also operates Boeing 737-800, Embraer E-170, E-175, E-190 and E-195 aircraft in its regional and short-haul operations, connecting Europe and beyond to Poland.
A double bill this week.
This aircraft – SP-LVD – joined the LOT fleet in June 2018, remaining in its front-line operation for just under five years. As a European-based aircraft, it has been used intensively out of its home base of Warsaw, flying to Rzeszow, London Heathrow Madrid, Yerevan, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Gdansk over the past seven days.
More Airplane Art next week!
