It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a British Airways Boeing 787-9 at its home base of London Heathrow Airport being towed to the maintenance area.
British Airways has a fleet of 18 Boeing 787-9 aircraft in its long haul fleet, operating in a four-class configuration (with some of those fitted with Club Suite).
The airline also operates Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-10 in its long-haul fleet.
These aircraft help form the operation part of its long-haul network, connecting London and Heathrow to the world.
This aircraft – G-ZBKG – entered service with British Airways in August 2016. Recently, the aircraft has operated out of its Heathrow base to Chennai in India and Mexico City after a period of going off for maintenance.
More Airplane Art next week!
