It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
As seems to be tradition, we’re going to celebrate Loreens’s Eurovision win with a Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A320neo taxing at London Heathrow Airport.
(Hey, we do tenuous links here).
SAS 35 Airbus A320neo aircraft in its mainline fleet, with 24 operated by its Irish Subisdary – Scandinavian Airlines Conenct (of which this aircraft is assigned).
The airline operates the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321 and Boeing 737-700 in its short to medium-haul fleet connecting Europe to the airline’s hubs of Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, feeding into the airline’s long-haul network, as well as serving Scandinavia.
This aircraft – EI-SIN – was delivered to SAS Connect in July 2022, making this aircraft just under a year old (and fresh into service when these images were shot).
As a European aircraft, it has been used intensively, based primarily out of Stockholm, operating to Rhodes, Palma de Mallorca, Kavala, Chania Brussels Gothenburg, London Heathrow, Milan, Lulea, and Rome-Fiumicino.
More Airplane Art Next week!
