It’s Saturday again, and it’s Pride Weekend in Birmingham. And even though the colours and the wonderful protests are out (because Pride is a Protest), it’s time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.
The Bullring Bull looks rather resplendent for pride in Trans colours.

- Brussels Airlines updates its business class short-haul catering – Maybe a better reason if you’re paying the premium fares
The business of aviation
- Lufthansa Group to take a 41% share of ITA Airways – It seems that Lufthansa really wants to be in Italy.

Pretty Pictures
Next week
The Birmingham Pride site occupying Smithfield, as well as the Village.
We’re entering the last Bank Holiday before summer, so we’ll be having a quiet few days on the blog. However, we’ll also be in final preparation mode for Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg.
Including me going to get new shirts, as the thought of a travel iron fills me with dread.
And yes, my appointment book is starting to fill up. If you’re exhibiting at AIX and want to catch up, our landing page is here.
Until then, we’ll have our usual mixture of news, views and stored articles that I forgot to push the publish button on.
Stay safe out there and happy landings!
