It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Condor Airbus A320ceo at Hamburg Airport resting between duties in the old Condor/Thomas Cook transition livery.
Condor has a fleet of 12 Airbus A320ceo aircraft in its short to medium-haul fleet. The airline also has the Airbus A321 and Boeing 757-300 in its single-aisle fleet.
The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-90neo and Boeing 767-300ER in its long-haul fleet, taking travellers on breaks around the world.
They are expecting further Airbus A330neo aircraft to join the fleet, whilst having orders to replace the entire single-aisle fleet with Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo.
This aircraft – D-AICE – joined the Condor fleet in October 1998, making it just under 25 years old at the time of writing. Whilst the aircraft has been under the Condor name since it joined the airline, it also operated for Thomas Cook (Condor), Condor Berlin and finally was reassigned to Condor itself.
Over the past week, it has been flying to sunny destinations from Germany (Munich, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Frankfurt) to Kalva, Corfu, Preveza, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes, Heraklion and Yerevan.
More Airplane Art next week!
