It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380-800 lining up on the runway at London Heathrow Airport, as it prepares to depart for its home base of Singapore Changi Airport.
Singapore Airlines operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A380 aircraft in its fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-900ULR, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-10 in its long haul fleet, whilst using Boing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 for its regional operations.
This aircraft – 9V-SKS – joined the fleet in July 2012, making it around 11 and a half years old at the time of writing. This Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 is active within the fleet, with it operating out its Changi Hub to London-Heathrow, Hong Kong, Sydney and Shanghai-Pudong.
More Airplane Art next week!
