The ANA Group and The Pokemon Company are expanding their collaboration for new Pokemon Jets as part of the “Pokémon Air Adventures” – this time featuring the Evolution Pokemon – Eevee.
Eevee uses Fly! It’s Super Effective!
The aircraft will be known as the “Eevee Jet NH”, which will be a Boeing 777-300ER.
On the outside, it will feature Eevee (the Evolution Pokemon). Eevee has the potential to evolve into eight forms currently.
Eevee and its Evolutions are depicted moving forward into the future together with Pikachu on the paintwork. All eight forms of Eevee are depicted on the aircraft.
On the top image, Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Epseon and Umbreon, On the bottom rendering, Pikachu, Eevee, Slyveon, Leafeon and Glaceon.
The aircraft that will be used will be JA784A.
The following is a list of routes that may be operated from August 31, 2023, to October 28, 2023. The routes are subject to change due to changes in operations.
- Haneda – London (NH211/NH212)
- Haneda – New York (NH110/NH109/NH160/NH159)
- Haneda – San Francisco (NH108/NH107)
You’ll be in the hands of ANA on where it decides to send the Eevee Jet. It is planned this aircraft will operate in this livery for five years – so there’s a chance you’ll be able to catch it if you’re flying these routes (but not with a Poké Ball).
In terms of passenger experience, the “Eevee Jet NH” showcases ANA’s specially painted aircraft cabin design. The aircraft interior, similar to the “Pikachu Jet NH”, features limited edition designs on cabin attendants’ aprons, paper cups, napkins and headrest covers in Economy and Premium Economy Classes.
Passengers will be greeted with boarding music that brings the world of Pokémon to life and will receive a commemorative boarding certificate with the original “Eevee Jet NH” design.
ANA has put together some of the other amenities you’ll get at https://www.ana.co.jp/en/jp/international/theme/pikachujet/
But why?
We’ve seen Pokemon Jets in the past (mostly from ANA). Recently, they are spreading around with more carriers in Asia painting a Pokemon on the side of their aircraft.
The “Pokémon Air Adventures” project emerged as an initiative to enhance the travel experience through the world of Pokémon.
Other airlines that have Pikachu jets include Skymark (Japan), China Airlines (Tawain), Scoot (Singapore) and T’Way (South Korea).
