For those with families, having one less thing to do in the morning when dropping off luggage could be an important thing. easyJet is to expand its Twilight Bag Drop service to Glasgow Airport.
The free service provides customers on early morning flights with the option to drop their bags off the evening before, saving time for their journey through the airport on their day of travel by skipping bag drop and heading straight to security.
It is expected to be especially popular with thousands of families who are travelling with easyJet for their summer holidays.
The service will be available to all customers on early morning flights departing before 0830 at Glasgow, which represents over a quarter of all flights departing from the airport, and bags can be dropped between 1600 and 2100 the day before they fly.
Twilight Bag Drop is also available at London Gatwick, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Berlin and Amsterdam airports too.
easyJet has also improved customer contact centres, with its Milan contact centre open, as well as dedicated Special Assistance and Family Hotllines for families with under-12 travellers.
They have also opened a communication via Whatsapp too. The airline’s customer service opening hours are extended for the summer season between 6 am and 11 pm.

Reducing stress before departure
Travel is sometimes not easy – especially when there is a large party of you travelling, or if you have children which can make the process a little more fraught if they get bored or need attention whilst in the check-in line.
Similarly, for single or couples travelling, having one less to worry about at the airport on the day of departure is a welcome thing.
For those who have to travel with luggage – a service like this could be worth its weight in gold – if it reduces the stress of travel.
