It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Aer Lingus Airbus A330-300 in the classic white and green livery taking off the new North Runway from Dublin Airport as it heads off to New York-JFK on a short transatlantic hop.
Aer Lingus operates 10 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, with three Airbus A330-200s supporting them in its widebody fleet. An additional two Airbus A330-300 aircraft are assigned to the Aer Lingus UK operation which is based out of Manchester.
The airline operates eight Airbus A321LR aircraft as well to add thin-and-long capacity
This aircraft – EI-FNG – and is named St. Colmcille. It was delivered to Aer Lingus in August 2016, remaining in the fleet since then. It is based out of the airline’s hub at Dublin Airport, recently operating flights to Boston, Malaga, New York and Faro.
