Brian Znotins, American’s Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning.
“American is thrilled to add three new European destinations,”
“New service from Philadelphia and expanded trans-Atlantic service from Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth will offer customers convenient one-stop access from more than 200 unique destinations across the U.S. to Europe next summer.”
A busy summer ahead
It seems with airline deliveries picking up (especially the 787, which is core to American Airlines’ operation, with the majority of the expansion and new routes being delivered by the type), American Airlines is forging ahead with expansion for the summer season, whilst keeping its Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin American operations in check for the upcoming winter season.
Having a choice is a wonderful thing for both an airline and passenger to have – and no doubt, there will be options for both revenue and award-seeking passengers as they seek to plan out their summer travels – be it for business, or pleasure.
