It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Aer Lingus Airbus A321LR taking off from Dublin Airport as it heads off on a transatlantic trip.
Aer Lingus operates a fleet of eight Airbus A321LR aircraft in its single-aisle fleet, primarily deployed on long-haul routes, with it also operating various short-haul routes. The airline also operates Airbus A320 and Airbus A320neo in its single-aisle fleet.
The airline also operates the Airbus A330 family on its long-haul network.
This aircraft – EI-LRF – is named St Gelasius. It was delivered from Airubs to Aer Lingus via its lessor, joining the fleet in June 2021, where it has remained since.
It has recently been operating on long-haul routes to Philadelphia, Windsor Locks, Newark (New York), Washington Dulles and Cleveland. It has also operated short-haul routes to Munich, London Heathrow and Rome.
More Aeroplane Art Next week!
