It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Sund Air Airbus A320 resting between duties at Hamburg Airport, painted in Katta macht Urlaub Livery.
Sund Air is a German charter airline, with a fleet of seven aircraft – with four Airbus A319 and three Airbus A320 aircraft in its fleet. Sundair operates flights from Germany to holiday destinations in The Mediterranean and North Africa.
This aircraft – D-ANNA – has had an interesting life. It was originally delivered to Air Berlin in October 2007, then migrated to the Niki subdivision of the airline in May 2009. It then ended back at Air Berlin until it was stored in April 2013 (around the time of the airline’s demise). From there it went over to Aigle Azur in France from June 2013 to September 2019.
It was delivered to Sund Air in January 2020, where it has remained in its fleet.
The aircraft has been a busy thing, operating out of Kassel, Erfurt and Berlin, heading to Heraklion, Hurghada, Palma de Mallorca and Amman.
More Airplane Art Next Week!
