It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300ER at Chicago O’Hare Terinmal 5, as it is loaded and prepared for the long trip back to Istanbul Airport.
Turkish Airlines operates a fleet of 35 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, and Airbus A350-900 in its widebody fleet. The airline is adding further Airbus widebody aircraft, with Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-1000 and Airbus A350F recently ordered,
Together these aircraft connect Turkey to the world through its network, serving over 340 destinations.
This aircraft – TC-JJM is named Marmara. It joined the Turkish Airlines fleet in March 2011 and has remained active in the fleet.
It has been active recently, operating out of its Istanbul Airport home, to destinations including Izmir, Panama City, Bogota, Beijing, Miami, Taipei and Seattle.
