As we close in on the festive week, it’s time to take stock, look back and digest the world in Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.
Selfridges, Birmingham. The Disco balls add a look.
Trip report – Older, Yes. Wiser? No.
It’s time for a new trip report, with two segments this week. Look out for a few more segments next week.

Next week
We’re going to be taking things a little easier next week, as Christmas Day is a Monday this year, and thus I’m taking a little bit of the break in the foreground.
We’ll be continuing the Switzerland Trip Report, as well as anything a little interesting that pops along (although, Christmas week tends to be a quiet week for news).
Finally, we’ll have a traditional “end of year” wrap-up, which I’ve got to start writing.
Until then, Happy festive landings!
