It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an American Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner resting at Philadelphia Airport after completing the transatlantic hop from Dublin Airport.
American Airlines operates a fleet of 37 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners. The airline also operates the Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation.
These connect the international hubs that the airline operates (New York, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare, Miami, Los Angeles, Charlotte and Phoenix) to the world, as well as being used on some domestic services.
This aircraft – N806AA – joined the American Airlines fleet in June 2015. It’s fitted in the three-class configuration, with Concept D Business Class seating, Premium Economy and Economy Class seats. It’s been busy this week, operating out of Miami, Philadelphia, Dallas and Los Angeles to Buenos Aires, Dublin and Tokyo-Haneda.
More Airplane Art next week!
