It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Aer Lingus Airbus A330-300 at Dublin Airport, resting at the 200 Gates as it awaits its next duty.
Aer Lingus operates a fleet of 10 Airbus A330-300 in its mainline division, with two assigned to its UK division. These are supported by A330-200 and A321LR in the Aer Lingus medium-to-long haul fleet, connecting Europe and North American destinations.
This aircraft – EI-EIM is known as St Sillan or Síoláin in Irish. It was the penultimate Airbus A330-300 to be built (with its sister aircraft EI-EIN being the last). It joined the Aer Lingus fleet in November 2019, where it has remained.
It has been operating out of its Dublin Airport base to various destinations including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.
More Airplane Art next week!
