With the Asian rebound taking a little longer than planned, Qatar Airways is commencing the relaunch of services to Osaka, Japan.

The airline will serve Kansai International Airport on a daily basis, operating as below:

The new route is operated by an Airbus A350-900 aircraft, equipped with 36 Business Class seats and 247 Economy Class seats.

Kansai International Airport gives easy access to Central and West Japan, with Osaka, Nara Kyoto and Nara within easy reach.
In addition, as part of its codeshare partnership with Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways offers domestic connectivity to 34 codeshare destinations in Japan. As such, Japan Airlines has placed its code on all Qatar Airways flights between Qatar and Japan, including Narita International Airport, Haneda Airport, and now Kansai International Airport, as well as 14 destinations in Qatar Airways global network via Doha.

With the route resumed, tickets are on sale via the Qatar Airways site, as well as through the usual sales channels. Those who are connecting in Doha can take advantage of the airline’s stopover programmes too.
As for passengers, it will provide further options between Doha and Japan, with timings to meet connecting flights from Europe and Africa, as interest and growth in the Asian market continue to increase.
