Taipei-based carried STARLUX Airlines will be adding its third route to the United States of America – with plans to launch a route to Seattle, Washington.
The new route will commence on 16th August 2024, operating three times a week on Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays.
This new route marks the airline’s third U.S. gateway after Los Angeles and San Francisco, offering U.S. travellers direct flights to Taipei and seamless connectivity to 21 Asian destinations. In addition, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is also the hub of STARLUX’s partner Alaska Airlines, enabling travellers bound for Asia to easily transfer upon arrival at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The Seattle–Taipei flights will operate with an Airbus A350, which features a four-class layout -First (4 seats), Business Class (26 seats), Premium Economy (36 seats) and Economy (240 seats).
That is going to be important, given this is booked for 11 hours and 15 minutes going to Seattle, with the return leg to Taipei taking 12 hours.
