It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Japan Airlines Boeing 787-9 at London Heathrow Terminal 3 as it rests before its return flight to Tokyo.
Japan Airlines operates a fleet of 22 Boeing 787-9 in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-1000, Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 in its widebody operation.
These aircraft fly both domestically and internationally, connecting Japan to the world, under the wings of Tsurumaru (the red-crown crane).
This aircraft – JA863J – joined the Japan Airlines fleet in January 2016, where it has remained in service since then. It’s been busy, with the aircraft operating from its Toyko-Narita base to Boston, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco.
More Airplane Art next week!
