It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 767-300ER at London Heathrow Terminal 2 as it is loaded up for the return journey back to the USA.
United Airlines operates an active fleet of 35 Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
Together, they provide long-haul connectivity, as well as domestic widebody capacity in the USA.
This aircraft – N665UA – joined the United Airlines fleet in July 1998. It has remained in the United fleet since then, passing through the Continental/United merger. The aircraft has recently operated out of its Newark base to Rio de Janeiro and London Heathrow over the past few days.
More Airplane Art next week!
