SWISS International Air Lines has firmed up its plans for Winter 2024, with some services gaining boosts over the period.
Out of Zurich
Some routes have been retained from the summer timetable from the Zurich network. These include
- Washington DC (USA) – to operate five times a week
- London Gatwick (UK)– operates daily
- Cluj-Napoca (Romania) – three times a week
- Košice (Slovakia)
SWISS will also increase its flight frequencies this winter on selected intercontinental routes. Its services between Zurich and the Californian cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco will each be increased to daily operations, while twice-daily service will be offered on the Zurich-Miami route.
SWISS will also be providing daily service between Zurich and Shanghai in the coming winter timetable period.
More from Geneva
Geneva will see some increases as well as route retentions. The Geneva-Oslo route (which was added to the SWISS network this summer) will be retained. It will be operated with six weekly frequencies in the coming winter schedules.
In addition, Geneva-based SWISS customers will also be offered a wider choice of services this winter to
- Copenhagen (increased to five weekly frequencies)
- Valencia (three weekly flights
- Malaga (three weekly flights)
A busy winter
SWISS’s 2024/25 winter schedules will serve a total of 93 destinations from Zurich and Geneva: 65 European and 23 intercontinental points from Zurich, and New York plus 22 short-haul destinations from Geneva. The 2024/25 winter timetable period will run from 27 October 2024 to 29 March 2025.
All the flights offered in SWISS’s 2024/25 winter schedules are bookable via SWISS and all further booking channels.
