It’s Sunday again so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have United Airlines Boeing 777-200ER climbing out of Dublin Airport, as it heads off to one of its hubs in the United States of America.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 55 Boeing 777-200ERs in its fleet, with use split between international and domestic operations. The airline also operates the Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
These aircraft connect hubs in the USA to destinations across the world.
This aircraft – N688UA – joined the United Airlines fleet in July 1997. It has remained in the fleet since then, keeping its UA designation through the Continental/United Merger. It has been active recently, operating primarily out of San Francisco and Washington-Dulles to Osaka, Seoul, Barcelona, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
More Airplane Art next week!
