It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a British Airways Airbus A380 taxiing to London Heathrow Terminal 5 as it returns to its home base after a long flight.
British Airways operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A380 aircraft in its long-haul operation – with the airline restoring its full fleet to operation post-pandemic.
The airline also operates the Airbus A350-1000,Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody fleet.
This aircraft – G-XLEJ – joined the British Airways fleet in November 2015, with it being just over 9 years old from the time of construction. The aircraft’s last flight was from London Heathrow to Singapore, where it flew onto Angeles City and Manila, where it has been parked for maintenance since the 5th of June.
More Aeroplane Art next week.
