It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 757-300 climbing out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it heads off to its next destination.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 21 Boeing 757-300 in its single-alise fleet. They also operate the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737-8 MAX, Boeing 737-9 MAX and Boeing 757-200 in this side of the operation.
These single-alise aircraft are used on both domestic and international operations by the airline.
This aircraft – N57857 – joined the Continental Airlines fleet in February 2004. It joined the United Airlines fleet in January 2011 as part of the Continental/United Merger. The aircraft last flew on the 19th of June 2024 from Los Angeles to Wilmington.
