It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Iberia Airbus A330-200 arriving at London Heathrow after the short hop from Madrid.
Iberia operates a fleet of 14 Airbus A330-200 (the range-optimised version of the classic A330ceo aircraft) in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the A330-300 and Airbus A350-900 in its widebody operation.
Together, they operate out of the airline’s hub of Madrid Airport, connecting Spain to the world.
This aircraft – EC-MUD – is named Johannesburgo. It was delivered to Iberia in March 2018 and has remained with the airline since then. It’s been busy, operating from its Madrid base to Guatemala City, Panama City, San Juan, San Salvador and Montevideo.
More Airplane Art next week!
