It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Delta Air Lines Airbus A220–300 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International International Airport.
Delta Airlines operates a fleet of 26 Airbus A220–300 aircraft in its single-aisle fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A220–100, Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 717, Boeing 737-800 Boeing 737-900, Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 757-300 on this side of the operation.
This aircraft – N302DU joined the Delta fleet in October 2020, with it being just over four years old at the time of writing. Given its size, it operates across the Delta hubs of Salt Lake City, Detroit, Minneapolis and New York–LaGuardia to St. Louis, San Jose, Dallas, Santa Ana, Houston, Chicago, Missoula, Sacramento, Spokane, San Antonio and Fort Myers
