It seems Qatar Airways is planning to boost its frequencies on some core routes, with the airline adding extra frequencies to its routes.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said:
“As the World’s Best Airline, Qatar Airways is the best travel companion for international holiday-makers. Our increased flights during the winter holiday season comes as a response to the needs of our passengers who wish to create unforgettable travel experiences.
He added:
“Qatar Airways’ is also strengthening its commitment to the UK. Growing to 56 flights a week – the most of any Gulf carrier – further reinforces our long-standing relationship with London Heathrow Airport, as well as our unique strategic alliance with British Airways, which also operates two flights a day to Doha.”
Boosting capacity
It seems that Qatar Airways is seeing enough demand to lay on more capacity between Doha and four destinations in the world – and in the process bumping up the seat count to over 42,000 seats a week to its hub – and certainly competing hard against Emirates, which over five flights a day to Heathrow (with four of those being operated by an A380).
Although it does make one wonder how many people Qatar Airways could move if they converted more of their Heathrow operation to feature more Airbus A380 aircraft.
For passengers – it gives them a choice when travelling, timing flights which are convenient to them, rather than being fixed to someone else’s plans with a comparatively limited frequency, especially on routes to Male and Tokyo, whilst for those who want the sun of Miami will enjoy an extra few choices a week.
The new frequencies appeared to be loaded on the Qatar Airways site for those who need them
