“We are proud to introduce Warsaw and Prague as our newest destinations, reflecting our commitment to expanding into new and exciting markets. We see this as a key part of our growth strategy, helping to drive tourism and support the UAE’s vision for the future.”
Filling in gaps
Network design is interesting – do you plough more capacity into markets where you can extract every coin, or do you chance a new destination or two in the hopes it builds into a strong option?
Etihad Airways has looked at its data – and must have spied enough trends in its connecting traffic to launch two new routes – and see how it performs.
We’ll have to see how long these routes can hang around – or if they convert the four times-a-week operations into the ideal thing – daily operation.
Tickets for these routes are on sale, via the usual sources.
