It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Thai Airways International Airbus A350-900 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport as it is prepared for its return journey to Bangkok. This aircraft is presented in the Star Alliance house livery.
Thai Airways operates a widebody fleet of 23 Airbus A350-900. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-300, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8, and Boeing 787-9.
Together, they connect Thailand to the world.
The aircraft depicted is HS-THU, which is named Sakon Nakhon. It was initially delivered to Hainan Airlines in September 2019 (although seemingly never entering service with them) and redelivered to Thai Airways in April 2024.
At the time of writing, the aircraft is active, operating out of its Bangkok Suvarnabhumi home to Tokoyo-Handea, Munich, Denpasar (Bali), Shanghai and Stockholm.
More Airplane Art next week.
