It seems TAP Air Portugal is lining up some new routes for next year. Let’s see where they are offering to send their passengers… with at least one surprise in the routes…

It seems the A321LR is making another play here for network building, with the airline using the type between Porto and Boston, with a summer season route announced.

A stop in the Azores
Finally, and maybe most interestingly, from 3 June 2025, one of TAP’s weekly flights between Lisbon and San Francisco, on Tuesdays, will make a stopover on Terceira in both directions.
In doing so, it creates a direct flight between the island of the Azores and California, to serve the large Azorean community residing there.
Currently, TAP flies from Lisbon to seven US airports in New York, Newark, Boston, Miami, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Chicago, and from Porto to Newark.
