It’s Sunday again, and for the last time this year, it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Thai Airways International Boeing 777-300ER taking off from Zurich Airport (with an impressive amount of snow being kicked up by the jet exhaust).
Thai Airways operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 in the widebody operation.
These aircraft connect Thailand both with regional and international routes.
This aircraft – HS-TKK – is named Philavan. The aircraft joined the Thai Airways fleet in August 2012, making it around 12 and a half years old since its first flight. The aircraft remains active in the airline’s fleet, with it operating out of its home base of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to London Heathrow, Delhi, Tokyo Haneda and Beijing Captial Airport.
More Airplane Art next year!
